Marcel Wibault Museum

A few steps from the center of Chamonix, hides a treasure "the Alpenrose" which housed the workshop and the place of life of Marcel Wibault. This Chamonix painter has never stopped painting his favorite subject, the mountains.

He leaves behind a prolific body of work. The visitor will be charmed by the beauty and authenticity of his cottage, which has become a memory space. A warm interior, painted, sculpted, engraved by the master's own hands. The visitor will discover original paintings, today quoted and collected.
