Casse-croûte is a hybrid festival at the crossroads of gastronomy, wine, culture, nature and the environment that takes place in Chamonix.
The first edition of the Casse-Croûte festival will take place in Chamonix, from October 28th to November 1st.
On the menu: a hybrid cooking festival, with many guest chefs from and lovers of the European Alps: from Guillaume Monjuré to Nadia Sammut, from chefs Manon Bocquentin and Thaïs Giannetti to Nicolas Darnauguilhem, or the formidable Mathieu Rostaing-Tayard, Giuliano Baldessari, Oliver Piras and Alessandra del Favero... Without forgetting the carte blanche at the restaurant Les Valseuses around chef Mitsuko and Laurent Garnier in the kitchen!
A food festival dedicated to conviviality and sharing, enriched by multiple artistic and cultural proposals and formats: effervescent canteen, joyful tastings, meetings and spicy debates (in partnership with Actes Sud and Globule Radio), gastronomic escapades in the mountains, concerts and caloric dj sets. Or a chef invited to the EPHAD in Chamonix, an exhibition of chefs with their favorite knife, a soup contest and many participative projects with cultural structures and actors of the territory.
Last but not least, the incredible, moving and emblematic landscape of the Chamonix Valley, the main character of a festival that is resolutely committed to and respectful of its environment.
