This Sunday, June 23, as part of the Olympic flame relay, a significant security arrangement will be in place, impacting traffic, transportation, and parking.

On World Olympic Day, June 23, Chamonix-Mont-Blanc will be the final stop on the torch's journey through Haute-Savoie, welcoming the precious symbol.

- From 2pm to 6pm on the Chamonix speed ring/sports arena
Come and measure yourself against the champions with fun and sporting activities: the "parcours des enflammés" awaits you! Bobsleigh pushing, sound rifle shooting, rowing, martial arts... there's a whole world to discover. The Club des Sports, the Centre Sportif and the École Militaire de Haute Montagne welcome you to the speed ring!
- From 3:30 p.m. on the Place du Mont-Blanc celebration site
The Place du Mont-Blanc is the venue for the Olympic Torch Relay. Activities are scheduled from 3:30pm on the active slab, a dedicated Paris 2024 area, before the arrival of the flame and the lighting of the cauldron at 7:20pm. Various stands will be available on the celebration site.
- At 8.30pm, a concert in Parc Couttet
Want to make the day even longer? The show must go on! Come and enjoy the "World of Queen" concert (Queen tribute) at 8:45pm in Parc Couttet! Admission is free, subject to Internet booking and safety regulations.

While there will be at least 65 torchbearers in Chamonix-Mont-Blanc, the town has chosen five who represent the importance of Olympic values for our town over the past 100 years. The torchbearers chosen by our town are : Meije Bidault, sit-ski athlete. Paraski / Merlin Surget, snowboard cross athlete / Michel Caux, ice hockey athlete / Monique Mollier, lifeguard / Édith Aubert, head of secours populaire.
