Théâtre - Mort d'une montagne

The show will open the Fête de la science in Chamonix from October 6 to 16, 2023. Rochebrune, an imaginary village, has been on the alert for landslides in the mountains due to climate change.

As local players ponder the future of the valley, a mountaineer arrives, determined to climb the region's most important peak. In parallel, we follow several characters caught up in the mountain and confronted with the urgency of the issues at stake. They all end up in a refuge, where the janitor anxiously watches the cliffs crumble around her. This play takes us into the depths of the mountain world, where these mountains are the "sentinels" of climate disruption. We're immediately absorbed by this breathless, suspenseful tale, led by four brilliant actors.
