Brévent cable car
From Chamonix: first a gondola to Planpraz at 2000m, then a cable car to Le Brévent at 2525m. Here you'll enjoy 360° panoramic views of the Mont-Blanc chain.
In summer, Planpraz is the starting point for many wonderful escapades, including Lac Cornu and the Grand Balcon Sud. It also offers an excellent launch area for paragliders.
From the Brévent summit, a path leads in summer to the Aiguillette des Houches via the Bel-Lachat refuge.
The Brévent slabs, facing Mont Blanc, form a pleasant, quiet climbing site just a 5-minute walk from the top of the cable car, .
In summer, as in winter, take advantage of the beautiful sunny terraces for a moment of tranquillity and contemplation!
Eating out: in Planpraz, "La Bergerie" offers traditional cuisine or fast food. At Le Brévent, for summer 2025, a small refreshment bar is open, while the restaurant "Le Panoramique" is undergoing renovation.
