Closure of the Mont Blanc Tunnel 2023 :
Due to major maintenance and renovation work, the Mont Blanc Tunnel will be closed from 4 September 2023 at 5 pm until 18 December 2023 at 10 pm.

Please note:

From November 1st 2022 to March31th 2023, light vehicles, commercial vehicles and motor homes must:

  • either be equipped with metal or textile snow chains in the boot, allowing at least two driving wheels to be fitted
  • or be equipped with four winter tyres.
