Ski area opening forecasts 2024-2025

The Grand-Montets ski area is a mecca for freeride and steep-slope enthusiasts, thanks to its excellent snow conditions and northerly orientation.
The Brévent and Flégère ski areas are bathed in sunshine and offer playful skiing with a view of the roof of Europe, at the foot of the Aiguilles Rouges. From Planpraz, take to the skies on a tandem paragliding flight. And for speed fans, take to the Chavanne slope and get your time measured!

The next day, compare your time on the Balme-Vallorcine slalom area. The Balme-Vallorcine slopes are gentler, ideal for all levels of skiing and snowshoeing. The same is true of Les Houches, on the other side of the valley, which welcomes families of skiers and hikers.

Beginners and children alike can perfect their pole-planting skills on one of the lower-altitude areas offered by the Chamonix-Mont-Blanc Valley.
