Itineraries have been marked in the valley, notably on the Les Houches, Grands-Montets and Balme ski areas. Don't hesitate to enlist the help of a mountain guide to explore the countless combes and goulets in the Vallée de Chamonix-Mont-Blanc.

Discover high-mountain skiing in the famous Vallée Blanche! Accessible from the Aiguille du Midi cable car (3842m), this is one of the world's finest glacier off-piste runs. Very popular in early spring, it is nonetheless a high-mountain itinerary. Supervision by a guide and the use of appropriate equipment are essential.

Warning: safety information!

Ski touring requires a good knowledge of the mountain environment: avalanche risks, knowing how to ski on all types of snow, and so on. We recommend that you set off with a guide!

You should also be equipped with an avalanche transceiver (ARVA), a shovel, a probe, a harness, crampons (recommended for the ridge)... and ... NEVER ALONE! NEVER ALONE!
