Before you arrive, be sure to book your lodging and check out the available activities, events, weather conditions, and ski lift operating hours. You can also plan your itinerary and book certain activities in advance, especially during peak seasons.

The valley offers a wide range of lodging options in Servoz, Les Houches, Chamonix-Mont-Blanc, Argentière, and Vallorcine: hotels, apartments, chalets, vacation resorts, bed-and-breakfasts, campgrounds, and group accommodations. Your choice will depend on your preferences, your budget, and the activities you plan to do during your stay.

Find your lodging

The valley is accessible by car, train, and bus. You can also reach the destination from the international airports in Geneva and Lyon using various transfer options. Once there, public transportation makes it easy to get around between the different villages in the valley.

Yes. The Mont-Blanc Express train runs year-round, serving various villages and areas of the valley, supplemented by the Chamonix Mobilité bus network. This makes it possible to plan a large part of your stay using public transportation. We recommend checking the schedules and service conditions for the time of your stay.

La réservation est recommandée pour certaines activités, notamment pour le téléphérique de l'Aiguille du Midi, la vallée blanche, les cours de ski, les vols en parapentes...  particulièrement pendant les vacances scolaires et les périodes de forte fréquentation. Pensez également à vérifier les conditions d’accès, les horaires et les éventuelles réservations nécessaires avant votre départ.
