Electric vehicle charging stations
The Chamonix valley is supporting the growing trend towards electric mobility. Nine new electric charging points have just been installed at the Saint Michel parking lot.
The new "charging station", known as an "accelerated" charging station, is located on Level 2 of the parking lot. It comprises 9 E-totem (French manufacture) charging points and operates in E-smart mode (intelligent energy management).
Anyone with a charging card can use the station, either through a specific subscription, a mobile application or a charging card linked to the vehicle manufacturer (Kia / Bmw / Renault / Tesla...) or a Chargemap pass, for example, as long as it is compatible with the network.

These new sockets are in addition to the existing ones on the territory(behind Chamonix Town Hall, accessible between 6am and 10.30am, Allobroges parking lot, Corzolet parking lot, Courmayeur parking lot and Freney parking lot) and in the Mont Blanc (12) and Entrèves (2) underground parking lots. Other sockets will soon be operational in the Centre-ville P+R parking lot.
These charging stations for electric vehicles are being installed in partnership with SYANE (Syndicat des énergies et de l'aménagement numérique de la Haute Savoie) and in conjunction with the eborn network.
There are also charging points for electric bikes in the valley:
