When it comes to food, the Chamonix valley is steeped in Savoyard tradition, with its rustic fare based on potatoes, cheese and charcuterie.
You'll enjoy delicious Savoyard gratins, fondues, raclettes, croûtes, tartiflettes and other reblochonnades. And let's not forget the famous farçon: a specialty made with grated potatoes, bacon, prunes, currants, cream and eggs.
