MOUNTAIN AND GLACIER SAFETY :
Become aware of the risks linked to the mountain and glacier environment and learn how to use the equipment necessary for your safety and that of others, during a specific training day with a professional.
You certainly know that a minimum of rescue equipment, such as the DVA, shovel and probe is essential for any off-piste practice. But do you know that in a glacier environment other equipment is absolutely necessary such as crampons, a rope, an ice axe, a harness, as well as equipment useful for the realization of a reeving (lifting system based on the reduction of the force to get out, alone, a person of a crevasse)? But above all, are you able to use all this equipment?
