If you'd like to get away from it all for a while: in less than 20 minutes, you can reach some of the world's most famous sites: the Aiguille du Midi cable car and its "Pas dans le Vide" at 3,842 m altitude, the Montenvers-Mer de Glace train (1,900 m altitude) or the Brévent cable car (2,525 m altitude). Up there, wonder and thrills are guaranteed...
Connect with nature by exploring our easily accessible trails, and recharge your batteries at a mountain lake. And, who knows, maybe you'll come across a majestic ibex or a marmot...

The Chamonix valley is a veritable small town in the mountains. The eco-responsible challenge, organized on the Mer de Glace, combines the discovery of an exceptional site, an introduction to mountaineering and an awareness of the impact of global warming on glaciers.
This awareness can also be passed on during mid-mountain hikes, in all seasons, and why not with snowshoes?
A conference on the effects of global warming in the mountains can round off a plenary session at the Convention Center and leave a lasting impression.
