The Aiguilles Rouges Chalet Nature Reserve, run by the Friends of the Aiguilles Rouge Nature Reserves, offers visitors a unique opportunity to delve into the fascinating world of mountain fauna and flora.
It is a vast topic, showcased here in the botanic walk around the mountain pass area, with commentary given by students, along with microscope observations, permanent exhibitions, projections and conferences.
There is a facilitator, plus a group of students, on hand to provide walkers with precious information and clear scientific explanations that are easy for everyone to understand. For anyone keen to learn more about the plant and flowers, animals and insects, and geology (rocks, minerals and soils), there are books, brochures and leaflets available.
Visitors can also buy postcards and refreshments.
From 07/07 to 31/08/2021, daily between 9.30 am and 6 pm.
