Presentation

Exhibitors, breeders and yarn artisans, offer handmade clothes, yarns, weavings, wool felts and knitwear. Supporting the creativity of craftspeople. Encourage short circuits and meetings between craftspeople.

In 1992, a small number of craftsmen and wool producers in the Drôme region formed an association under the French law of 1901, under the name "LA TOISON D'ART". Their aim was to promote, through group actions, their crafts, whose know-how ranges from the raw material - natural animal or plant fibers - to the finished product. Today, the association brings together some sixty members, creative craftsmen and producers who represent the entire textile industry, from breeding to spinning, weaving, dyeing, felting, knitting, leatherwork, painting on wool or silk, jewelry creation, textile art... Raise public awareness and pass on a heritage of craftsmanship: introduce visitors to the entire fiber processing chain, from raw raw material to finished product. Gestures, knowledge and know-how...
