From the village of Argentière, the Plan Joran gondola lift (1923 m) takes you right up to the famous glacier: the starting point for beautiful hiking and mountain-biking trails.
An exceptional viewpoint over the Argentière glacier basin, with views of the Drus, the Aiguilles Rouges and Mont Blanc.
From the Plan Joran train station, a path takes you to the viewpoint in summer, with its impressive cascade of seracs!

Handicap
Due to a fire in Lognan at the end of summer 2018, the cable cars of Lognan and Les Grands Montets are damaged and don’t work anymore. In the meantime, until they are changed, the only access to the area is to be made over Plan Joran chairlift which arrival is situated in the very center of the ski resort. There is therefore no access to this ski area in winter for pedestrians and snowshoeing walkers.
Cable car adapted to disable skiers in wheel chairs.
No adapted car park to people with reduced mobility, but it is possible to dropp them off after going through the barrier located on the left upper side of the car park on the way to the cash desk, the ESF and the Plan Joran cable car: on request, the cash desks can open the barriers so that people with reduced mobility can be dropped off near Plan Joran cable car.
