Musée des Cristaux - Espace Tairraz
The Musée des Cristaux offers you a journey through the mineralogy of the Alps, France, Europe and the world. Come and discover exceptional collections by their quality, their diversity and their beauty through a renewed scenography in 2021.
The exhibition begins along the Alps, with exceptional pieces from the Alpine massifs (France, Italy, Switzerland, Austria) and particularly from the Mont-Blanc massif. It features one of the finest collections of pink-red fluorites, smoky quartz, axinites, siderites, epidotes... of international renown. From French mines and quarries, it takes you on a voyage of discovery of the most emblematic pieces from five continents: azurites from Chessy-les-Mines, aquamarines from Pakistan, Peruvian pyrites, Congolese dioptases and Australian opals...
