The lift Charamillon will close for the summer 2022.From the village of Le Tour and Vallocirne, the Charamillon and Vallorcine gondolas, and the Autannes chairlift, 2185 m, transport you over rich alpine pastures into a fabulous nature and leisure area.
This very sunny Franco-Swiss ski area reaches a height of 2,186m at Col de Balme pass.
This area can be reached from Le Tour village or by gondola lift from Vallorcine.
The Balme area has in summer nice paths for all leves such as the path up to the Albert I mountain hut, a very pleasant walk in a giant-scale glacier setting, but also routes in the wild through pastures and forests!
From Charmillon to Col des Posettes pass, several mountain bike trails for all levels take you down to the villages of Le Tour and Vallorcine.
Where to eat: The Chalet de Charamillon and the mountain chalet at the Col de Balme pass welcome you in summer and a delicieus blueberry tart awaits the more courageous at the Albert I mountain hut.

Family ticket: 2 adults + 2 paying children and the others free of charge (up to 3 kids free)

When you arrive, you will find a short gravel descent (in summer).
You will have access to the “Chalet de Charamillon” if accompanied (because there is a
step to get on the terrace). There are also adapted toilets (access below
the building with some help, then it is a little bit steep. You can then have access to the Autannes chair lift, but you will need some help at the arrival. From there, if you are accompanied, you will be able to go to the Balme pass (Col de Balme) on a footpath (an about 20 minutes’ walk).
