Workshop - discover specialty coffee and tasting
Immerse yourself in the world of specialty coffee from the beginning of its history to the present day. This discovery workshop will introduce you to the evolution of coffee and its consumption, as well as an explanation of what specialty coffee really is.
In a second step, we will understand the basic rules of a good SAGE espresso extraction and practice it in the rules of art. The workshop is divided into five steps:
Discovering the roasting process
Introduction to specialty coffee
Understanding espresso (origins, aromatic profiles, types of beans, roasting)
The rules of espresso extraction (grinding, temperature, time, ratio, water, SCA protocol: Speciality Coffee Association)
Extraction of an espresso with a Sage machine and tasting
A coffee sample is offered at the end of your workshop!
