After numerous participations in prestigious sailing races such as the Solitaire du Figaro, the Volvo Ocean Race, the Transat Jacques Vabre and the Route du Rhum, Eric Péron distinguished himself during the last Arkea Ultim Challenge with his audacity and tenacity aboard the Maxi trimaran Adagio, finishing the race in 5th place. Eric now belongs to the very select circle of people who have completed a round-the-world solo trimaran race.
Eric Péron is an emblematic skipper of ocean racing, renowned for his commitment and passion for maritime adventure. A native of Brittany, he developed a fascination for the sea at an early age, which led him to take part in the greatest oceanic competitions. His career has been marked by participation in prestigious races such as the Route du Rhum, the Transat Jacques Vabre, the Ocean Race and, more recently, the Arkea Ultim Challenge, the grail of single-handed trimaran ocean racing.
Eric stands out for his ability to sail in extreme conditions, where courage and resilience are constantly put to the test. His approach to sailing goes beyond competition; it's a quest to surpass oneself and a constant desire to undertake. He embodies the values of daring, endurance and respect for the environment, essential for anyone wishing to venture onto the vast expanses of the sea.
