Apéro des Sciences Participatives du CREA Mont-Blanc

in Vallorcine
Presentation

Come and find out about the different ways in which you can help CREA Mont-Blanc researchers collect data that will be used to study mountain biodiversity.

To celebrate the arrival of spring, and also the start of the beautiful season for the participatory science programs we run at CREA, we invite you to join us for a drink!

All the volunteers in our community, and all those who would like to participate in their own right, or simply learn more about our programs, are invited to join us on this occasion!

At CREA, we have a number of participatory science programs, which you can discover on our brand-new platform: https://spot.creamontblanc.org/

If you have trees and would like to observe changes in your garden, sign up for the Phénoclim observation program! Would you like to spy on discreet high-altitude species from a respectful distance? The "Belle rencontre" program is for you. If you're more interested in photographing ducks on a hike? We've got something for you too! If you're a mountaineer, we have a special mission, calibrated to your specific profile.

The HerbiLand program is a new addition to our diverse range of services: it studies the evolution of populations of large wild herbivores in relation to changes in moorland, climate, and pastoral and recreational activities in the mountains. To take part, you'll need to collect droppings, which bear witness to the diet and presence of these herbivores in high-altitude areas.
