Fishing in the river Eau Noire

in Vallorcine
Presentation

This river is worth the detour for its waters classified in first category but also for the mountainous nature of its frame, through which one takes pleasure to walk.

The Black Water of Vallorcine is a small torrential river which has its source in France at the Encrenaz pass, then passes into Switzerland to flow into the Upper Rhône. The course is the former fishing reserve of Vallorcine, managed as an active reserve since 2006.
The river hosts a very nice population of fario trout, but they are often difficult to lure, especially since the water is clear. Discretion and finesse are required on this course.

Regulations: A trout of 25cm minimum per day and per angler
Types of fishing: All techniques
Fish population: Fario trout
