Atelier : En contact

The BALLANDO association is offering an EN CONTACT contact improvisation dance discovery workshop from 10.30am to 12pm in Chamonix, in the Majestic dance hall.

Come and experiment with support, weight, gravity, impulse, inertia, touch and support in relation to the floor and partner(s).
"In contact dance, the fundamental point of concentration for dancers is to remain in physical contact; offering each other support, innovating, they meditate on the physical laws linked to their masses: gravity, impulse, inertia and friction. They do not strive to achieve results, but rather seek to embrace a constantly changing physical reality through an appropriate way of positioning themselves and directing their energy."
