Juste une femme - solo acrobatique et chorégraphique
by Compagnie Cabas. As part of the 8th edition of the "Femmes, Égalités, Réalités" festival organized by the Chamonix MJC.
Juste une femme is a one-woman documentary circus show directed by Cécile Yvinec. Inspired by the testimony of Aissetou, an Ivorian woman who had to flee her country, the piece combines acrobatics, dance and sound expression. Aissetou's voice, recorded by Cécile, accompanies the story of her exile, creating an intimate dialogue between the two women. Through movement, sound and words, Cécile transcribes the complex emotions of this migratory journey, underlining the singularity of each story.
