Dominique Potard, author of the sparkling Port de la Mer de Glace, now a 7-part saga, could have chosen to write his memoirs: his life as a Chamonix guide, adept at "extreme" skiing among other adventures, would have more than filled the jug. But with Potard, the tone and style make the man (and the dialogues).
