European Heritage Days

Going down the old road, we pass through the most important hamlets of a Vallorcine of yesteryear. A number of architectural features are still present, providing an insight into life in this frontier valley.

Departing from Le Buet train station, after the train has arrived, we'll take a stroll along the "vieux chemin" through some of the most important hamlets of yesteryear, with their traditional houses, mayens, granaries and chapels.
These visits and encounters will give us an insight into the traditional life of these villages on the edge of the Valais.
The tour will end near the Vallorcine railway station, allowing everyone to return home by this century-old means of transport.
