Shoukâ - Torréfacteur d'altitude

Shoukâ is a coffee and cocoa factory located at 206 rue du Dr Paccard in Chamonix-Mont-Blanc in Haute-Savoie.

Installed in the former Swiss chalet that housed "le Choucas", an emblematic Chamonix bar from the 70s and 80s, this new chain has been bringing a breath of fresh air to the valley since February 2021, offering chocolate and coffee "made in Chamonix".

Originally from Brittany, Nathalie and Christian Duperrier trained in the chocolate and coffee trades before settling at the foot of Mont Blanc, to open the first double-roasting establishment in France, with a "bean-to-bar" concept.

Carefully selected from small-scale producers around the world, cocoa beans and coffee beans are processed on site. In the basement, a visit to the chocolate factory allows gourmets to learn more about the different stages in the manufacture of Shoukâ chocolate, which is made without the addition of additives, soy lecithin or preservatives. At the entrance to the establishment, you can watch coffee being roasted.

Finally, the coffee-shop invites you to sample the range of tempting chocolates on offer. Finally, the sunny terrace and attractive tearoom are the perfect place to enjoy a specialty coffee or hot chocolate accompanied by a delicious homemade pastry.
