Bourse des Cristalliers
This mineral bourse brings together members of the Chamonix and Northern Alps Mineralogy Club, who come to present and sell their finds from the past season.
For the 2025 edition, 21 crystal makers are registered.
14 crystal makers from the Mont Blanc and Savoie Massifs, 4 crystal makers from the Oisans Massif, 1 crystal maker from the Southern Alps, 1 crystal maker will offer minerals from the 2 Massifs.
A couple of exhibitors will be presenting cut stones from the Massif, faceted by themselves.
Only minerals from the Alpine arc (France, Switzerland, Italy) may be exhibited and sold.
In general, this exhibition showcases mineralogical finds made during the year throughout the Alpine arc, mainly in the French Alps (Massif du Mont Blanc, Massif de l'Oisans, Massif de la Lauzière, Beaufortin, Maurienne Tarentaise, etc.).
In the Mont Blanc massif, visitors and collectors are particularly interested in smoky quartz and fluorite.
In the Oisans massif, collectors are particularly interested in quartz, core quartz, prehnite, epidote, axinite and siderite.
For the Oisans massif, 2 crystal-makers will be offering pieces combining quartz and pink calcite from the cristallière de Maronne, a recent discovery of a historic cristallière that has been in operation since the 17-18th century.
