L'apéro des entrepreneurs - setting up a business in Chamonix

Frédéric Turbat is Mr. Numbers at La Petite Université. He's the Treasurer of our association. We're lucky to have him. He knows all the subtleties of accounting. Frédéric is a chartered accountant, a trainer at the Maison de l'Entrepreneur, a mentor to many entrepreneurs and a judge at the Paris Commercial Court. His passion is entrepreneurs, those entrepreneurial adventurers who take risks and believe in their ideals. And there are plenty of them in Chamonix!
Of course, it's never easy to get started. We're all full of preconceived ideas and fears, and we never know where to start or which door to knock on. Frédéric will introduce you to all the legal, tax and organizational aspects, as well as social protection issues... We'll also discuss the potential risks to your savings and assets, as well as more general topics such as the loneliness of the entrepreneur.
This aperitif will be organized in two parts: a first part of presentation, followed by a moment of exchange with you. Ask all your questions, from the most general to the most subtle. I'm an auto-entrepreneur, should I continue? What legal status should I choose? Can I set up a business and receive unemployment benefit? My mother is the manager: is this a good idea? How can I promote myself? What costs can I charge my company? Can I work from home? What about my taxes? What do I risk if my business fails? Frédéric always has the answer, and he's even prepared a little surprise for participants!
