Chamonix Art School – Draw, Paint, Create, Explore

Chamonix Art School is an art school founded by painter and artist Cat Kartal. Throughout the year, it offers workshops in drawing, watercolour, painting and mixed media for children, teenagers and adults. Classes are available in groups or individually, with tailored packages also available for seminars and private events.

The school’s mission is to make artistic practice accessible to everyone, regardless of age, level or experience. Curious minds, creative souls, beginners and experienced artists alike will find a space for expression and discovery in a friendly atmosphere that encourages learning and sharing.

Activities take place in the studio, as well as outdoors, in the heart of nature and the mountains, drawing inspiration from the landscapes and the energy of the Chamonix Valley.

Wednesday Art & Nature: an art workshop for children aged 4 to 13, offered every Wednesday throughout the year. As soon as the weather allows, children head out for walks and picnics in nature before drawing and painting outdoors, surrounded by the landscapes that inspire them.

July / August: throughout the summer season, Chamonix Art School offers a varied programme of creative workshops and outdoor activities for teenagers and adults. Watercolour, lino printing, mosaic, writing and painting workshops, poetic herbariums, travel journals… so many opportunities to discover new artistic techniques and let creativity flow.
