Snowshoeing & fondue with the Columbia Hike Society

Join us for an exceptional hike-snowshoe day in Chamonix, from 10am to 5:30pm, to test Columbia products while exploring the Alpine landscape. Fondue lunch and end-of-outing aperitif on the program.

The day begins at 10am at the Columbia store in Chamonix with a friendly breakfast and a presentation of the equipment to be tested. We'll show you a selection of products, including a third layer down jacket, which you can try out on your tour. Take advantage of this opportunity to get expert advice and discover the world of Columbia.
At 11:15 a.m., set off on a snowshoe hike with Caroline Freslon, mountain guide and Columbia ambassador. She'll guide you through the Chamonix valley, an ideal setting for testing our products while sharing convivial moments with other participants. During your adventure, enjoy a fondue together in the heart of a snow-covered landscape!

At 4:30pm, return to the store for a Savoyard aperitif, where you can share your impressions of the products and the day, while enjoying local specialities and refreshments.

The Columbia Hike Society is a club that brings together outdoor enthusiasts, whether novices or experts. Its aim is to make hiking accessible to everyone, whatever the season. After a successful launch in the UK in 2022, then in France in 2024, the Columbia Hike Society is continuing its adventure this winter with snowshoe hikes!
For this new series of events, the Columbia Hike Society has teamed up with mountain guides (AMM) to organize immersive snowshoe hikes, departing from the Columbia boutique in Chamonix. Each outing offers a unique experience, with varied themes such as a fondue evening, a night hike or the discovery of refuges.
So pack your gear, strap on your backpack and come and explore the snowy landscapes of the Mont-Blanc Massif. The Columbia Hike Society promises you unforgettable moments of sharing and discovery in the heart of nature.
