Tremplin Musiques Actuelles de la MJC de Chamonix

As part of its commitment to promoting local artistic practices, the MJC de Chamonix is staging its Tremplin Musiques Actuelles for the 4th consecutive year!

This springboard encourages the emergence of new talent and facilitates its discovery by the general public. It's an opportunity for artists to take to the stage under professional technical conditions.
Open to solo artists, duos or groups based in Haute-Savoie (74) - Style: contemporary music (amplified)

Free admission for the public! Doors open at 7:45pm.

→ 4 groups selected to take part in the springboard and selection of the winner by a jury of professionals and by the audience at the concert.

ARCANTHE (Rock/metal)
"Hailing from Rumilly, these 5 enthusiasts have been playing together for ten years and offer a mix of rock and alternative metal composed by themselves with lyrics entirely in French."

FULL STOP COMMA, (Electro/trip-hop)
"Formed in 2022 in a garage in Sallanches by two trip-hop and electro enthusiasts, the singer and bassist joined the band shortly afterwards. Since its inception, Full Stop Comma has distinguished itself with a unique style blending electronic rhythms, atmospheric ambiences and haunting vocal melodies."

MOÏZO (Rock/funk)
"Moïzo, a band formed in 2022 is an eclectic fusion of alternative rock/funk where each track blends positivity, frantic rhythms and heady melodies."

THE THIRD EYE (Progressive rock)
"The Third Eye symbolizes the consciousness and passion of four musicians dedicated to the expression of authentic progressive rock..."

The winning band will receive :
- Rehearsal sessions in a fully-equipped studio (6 hours in total)
- A one-day residency in the "La Coupole" venue, with the possibility of organizing a residency outing in front of an audience*.
- Programming for an evening concert at the MJC during the 2024/2025 or 2025/2026 season.
