Happy Kiddos
Because in the Valley, the day doesn’t end once you’ve put away your skis, here are 3 family-friendly outings.
2 ice rinks, 2 options
With sticks and pucks on the menu, meet the Pionniers, Chamonix-Mont-Blanc’s elite ice hockey team, who play regular home games throughout the season, from July to April. Sharp skates screeching, a supersonic puck, and hard-hitting action within the rules—that is, as long as the players can stay on their two blades… A different kind of show, but always a spectacular one.
A change of scenery, but the same magic: head to the Les Houches ice rink, facing Mont Blanc. Here, you’ll glide under the stars, with a breathtaking panorama as your backdrop. A bonus that makes all the difference: free night sessions to enjoy the ice in a whole new way.

A Relaxed Aperitif (translation: the kids are busy)
The PlanB Hotel has one of the best ways to wind down in the Valley: a mini-bowling alley with two 15-meter lanes that’ll seem as long as Route 66 to the little ones, and a dedicated kids’ area with board games, wooden toys, coloring books… And you? At the bar right next door—not too close, not too far, just the right distance to keep an eye on the kids while sipping a cocktail in peace.
At the Alpina Eclectic Hotel, the arcade room opening onto the lobby is as compact as it is effective: two video games, a pinball machine, an air hockey table, a foosball table… The perfect spot for your teens. And for you, too—admit it.

One last activity?
The Chamonix Outdoor Escape Game Paintball Outdoor Game is much more than just a puzzle to solve within four walls. Equipped with a GPS-enabled tablet to guide you from challenge to challenge and mysterious accessories to help you solve them, the adventures take place throughout Chamonix. Three quests are available (for ages 8 and up); plan on 2 hours of investigation—but get ready to talk about it for 3 days (“I told you it wasn’t there!!”).
The indoor climbing wall at the Richard Bozon Center is your best bet if your kids (ages 6 and up) still have way too much energy left despite three hours of lessons this morning and two hours of free snowplow practice this afternoon… And if, after 800 bouldering holds spread over 180 m², they still have energy to spare… Read on…
