Starting from the Pointe Helbronner (3,462m), reached by the Skyway cable car in Italy, snowshoeing on the Glacier du Géant is a unique opportunity to discover the world of high winter mountains. Roped up to our guides, you'll enjoy the atmosphere of the Mont Blanc Massif landscapes, made up of tormented glaciers and slender needles. You'll make your way through a breathtaking world to reach the Col d'Entrèves (3,527m) at the top of the Vallée Blanche. You return by the same route.
The Skyway cable car provides easy access to the area, which presents no technical difficulties. The Glacier du Géant snowshoe outing is aimed at hikers wishing to discover the world of the high winter mountains, and does not require any mountaineering experience. If you'd like to discover the world of high mountains, you can also enjoy a snowshoe hike on the Mer de Glace from Montenvers.
