Hopitaux du Mont-Blanc - Chamonix

The Chamonix emergency room is only open during the day when there is a lot of tourist activity in the winter and summer seasons (from 8am to 8pm). Outside of these periods and at night, you will be directed to the emergency service in Sallanches.

The care activity is versatile (adults, children, psychiatry, etc.). However, this activity is strongly marked by a specificity in mountain traumatology (more than 84% of the emergency activity on the Chamonix site) and in altitude pathologies (frostbite, hypothermia, acute mountain sickness...).

The order of referral depends on the seriousness of the case.

The Chamonix site includes 3 treatment rooms, 2 shock rooms or vital emergency rooms and a medical imaging room

Outpatient consultations in sports medicine, pediatrics and traumatology are also possible on the Chamonix site.
