European Night of the Museums at the Maison de la Mémoire et du Patrimoine

2-6pm and 7-11pm: free admission to the temporary exhibition "Chamonix 1924, the invention of the Winter Olympics". Continuous during opening hours: school project "Olympic Relay, 100 years of history in Chamonix".

Around the temporary exhibition celebrating this anniversary, children will share with you, in their own way, the invention of the first Winter Olympic Games in Chamonix. From one generation to the next, come and share with them this unprecedented sporting adventure, born in our region. CE1-CE2 pupils from Argentière school will recount the story of the 1924 Winter Games and present their artistic interpretation and sporting commentary. This presentation is part of the "Classroom, the work! "project organized by the Musée Alpin hors les murs around the temporary exhibition at the Maison de la Mémoire et du Patrimoine.
