How to get here ?

Chamonix is near Geneva international airport (in Switzerland), to which it is connected by an expressway. The Mont Blanc Tunnel provides direct access from Italy.
Located at the foot of Mont Blanc en France, Chamonix is easy to reach by train, car and aeroplane.
Geneva, Lyon and Milan airports are respectively 1 and 2 hours from Chamonix.
There are regular trains to Chamonix from Paris, Lyon, Annecy, Bellegarde, Geneva and Martigny.

The regular urban transport service operates across the Chamonix Valley, serving the tourist sites and the ski areas.

Free access from Servoz to Le Tour for anyone with the Visitor’s Pass or ski lift pass.

Mont-Blanc express train

From Chamonix, the SNCF rail line serves all the villages.
On the French side, up to St Gervais les Bains-le Fayet and taking in Les Bossons, Les Houches and Servoz.

On the Swiss side, up to Martigny and taking in Les Praz, Argentière and Vallorcine.
The SNCF rail line from Servoz to Vallorcine is free to use if you have the Visitor’s Pass, provided by your accommodation host on arrival.
